Performs medical laboratory tests, procedures, and analysis under general supervision. Conducts quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses of body fluids; blood group, type and compatibility tests for transfusion purposes. Performs automated and manual tests and reports results in timely manner. Evaluates results, releases in LIS, calls critical values. Answers technical inquiries. Maintains adequate inventories. Duties also include instrument maintenance, and interaction with patients, physicians, and hospital staff on a customer service basis with focus on quality patient care.
Shifts available: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
Qualifications: Requires Associates degree with successful completion of accredited program or Clinical Laboratory Technologist Examination. Education and experience in compliance with Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA).
